IT Practice: Summary and Results

The final meeting of the participants of the IT Practice «POVIR App Tester» took place. For two weeks, young people tested the POVIR mobile application, learned the basics of working in IT, and gained valuable practical experience.

Main achievements of the practice

• participants tested the key functions of the app: registration, profile, booking «One-on-One» sessions and «Sprints», and the operation of push notifications;
• a number of technical issues were identified and documented, which will help the development team improve the product;
• several meetings with the project team and developers took place, during which young people received consultations, instructions, and recommendations on quality testing.

Video Onboarding Contest

A special highlight was the contest for the best video onboarding of the app. Participants created short video tutorials for new users. The authors of the best works received gifts from the POVIR team and certificates of participation in the IT Practice.

What’s next?

The experience gained during the practice will help young people understand how the IT field works from the inside and also contribute to improving the POVIR educational platform, which supports students in their learning.
